Day by day the members of established and emerging writers room are increasing gradually, so the room expanded many times from the early four desks office setup to put up an increased require for its services, But today in 2011, the Writers Room serves more than 200 members annually. The Writers Room is a large workspace with desks that members share daily on a first come, first served basis and it open 24 hours in a day, 7 days in a week. This place is a congregation of all kind of writers of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, children's literature, young adult literature, graphic novels etc.. Now the membership fee for writers room is nearly $750 , can pay twice yearly and membership fees are subsidized by grants, donations and contributions, including those from the National Endowment for the Arts, the New York State Council on the Arts, the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs, the New York Foundation for the Arts etc. The writers room in general are a peaceful environment for the writers and authors to finish their work in a calm atmosphere.
